Leopard Board 355 overheating?

This question is not answered

Hey,

I experience some problems with my Leopard Board based on DM355 (ver 1.5): it reboots all the time! Whether I am running a video streaming demo or not, it reboots after around 5 minutes. Does anybody have experienced that before?

And it happens more and more frequently than before, even more often when put in an enclosed case.

I have 2 boards and both behave like that... Is Leopard Imaging accepting exchanges?

Thanks,

Mike

When did you buy these two Leopardboard 355 boards? are they running a while then you got problem, or the problem starts at the beginning when you got the boards?

I am wondering if there is any potential issues, as I know, so far no complain about this issues except sometime people burned boards with +12V power supply.

If it is within 1 month, not burned by 12V power supply, we should be able to exchange it. It is really weird to happen on both boards.

  • I bought 2 boards mid-march. They were running fine at the beginning and now are getting worse and worse with time (when streaming video, it reboots more often than before).

They are almost useless (i.e. rebooting all the time) when using the power supply provided by Leopard Imaging (5V, 2A) and when using USB as a power source, it gets more stable but I'm still getting a problem with one board (it looks like it overheats).
