does anybody know: can the dm355 on leopard board be replaced with a dm365?
is there anything beyond what is stated in

That is a very good document on the difference between dm355 and dm365. However, the effort to replace the dm355 with a dm365 on the Leopard board is as much as designing a new dm365 board.
The good news is, the little brother of Leopard Board will be born very soon. And it is equipped with a dm365.

We r evaluating different architectures for a IP based video,audio system and am interested in knowing more about the DM365 based leopard board.
Would it be able to support 800 x600 resolution at 30 fps? and H264 codec for video,narrow and wideband codecs for audio ?

DM365 can do 720p 30 fps H.264 encoding.
The video encoding is done by HDVICP.
ARM can run audio codec.
