Hi,

RidgeRun SDK provides a structure to develop and integrate user applications. By using the SDK you will be able to cross-compile and integrate your applications with libraries and other applications and also install your application in the target root file system. There is a directory inside the SDK called myapps where you can place your applications.

Currently the SDK includes some demo applications inside myapps directory, among the demos are: gstreamer, vala, and a gstreamer demo based on vala: http://www.ridgerun.com/blog/?p=162.

Attached is an article develop by the students of my course "Introduction to Embedded Systems" of the Technological Institute of Costa Rica. This articule gives a brief explanation about the RidgeRun SDK, but it is focused on how to develop your own user applications on the Leopard Board by using the RidgeRun SDK. Attached to this post is also a simple calculator as the demo application which is used in the article.

Regards,

Miguel Aguilar
