  • Hi,

Ubuntu 9.10 is supported, actually it is the Ubuntu Version most tested for the SDK.

The file that you mentioned is only defined when a package for an specific version of a distribution is different from the generic names of the packages.

As I said the SDK have been widely tested on 9.10 so the problem is your installation not the SDK!

  • Yes agree, that was my fault, I downloaded the version for the TI's evm.

  • HI ,

My name is surendra and I also faced the same issue but I resolved it by creating the copy of the tools depnds on the OS version and the different version Ubuntu tools available at $DEVDIR/bsp/oscheck

    The Example ---  $DEVDIR=/opt/DM6446SDK679202/

and I have install successfully on Ubuntu 9.0.4 version but I have one doubt

Can I use RidgeRun on ubuntu desktop without Embeded hardware (Ex: DM6446 --TI ) means that run the ridge run with libstream or some other application to play movies, Please clarify this one If anybody knows ....

    Thanks
