Hi everyone. I'm considering to buy the leopardboard 365 to be used for face detection with
the camera module. On the website of leopardboard it is stated that:
"Face detection module is available"
What exactly does that mean? Is it free to use? Are there any license fees?

Current Leopardboard 365 doesn't support face detection. The face detection chip should have "F" on that, which takes much longer lead time to get it.

is actually - "it will be available in the future, but if you buy it now, you won't get it"?!
Sorry to say, but that's disappointing and looks like false advertisement to me.
In fact, V1.4 should have face detection, from chip surface you can tell the part number is TMS320DM365ZCE30F, the "F" means face detection, but it seems this batch of DM365 doesn't have this function even it has "F". I am checking with TI about this issue.

Hi, I have a Leopardboard DM368 V1.5 with face detection module, so the LB DM368 should be your choice. But there is no support for the FD engine in the RR SDK.
